Plush, soft, and silky, it is an adult bowl of blueberries and blackberries with lingering sweet French oak. Saturated notes of violets and dried herbs lead to flavors of ripe blueberry, blackberry, cherry, well-integrated tannins, and a long finish. It’s nice now but it should only gain complexity and richness over time. Despite being aged in 100% new oak, it does not show overly oaky. It should prove to age well for 8 to 10 years easily.
