Inky, concentrated with blackberry compote, blueberry, leather, roasted herbs, game notes, this is as usual of our Syrahs - dense and intense in flavor. At cellar temperature, it appears as a cool climate Syrah but as it warms up it shows its ripe fruit and power. With aeration of a few hours, the full-bodied, viscous, mouth coating Syrah emerges. At its young age, enjoy it over two days as it would go with anything out of your favorite smoker, grill, or your paella pan. It can easily age 10 years but hopefully you can let it age for a few at least.
