Even by our standards of complex Syrahs, here is one that is super dense partly due to it being aged 36 months. It packs a punch with its full bodied, exuberant black fruits such as blackberry, blueberry, mingled with spice and subtle oak. Sure, it is food friendly but isn’t wine a food, after all? Bring on your posoles, gumbos and other rich stews and see if they can stand up to this beast. There is not much of this wine so here is your one chance.
